All the rights to determine the quantum of refund payable in case of cancellation or amendment of a tour are reserved by withinearthholidays.com. Refunds are calculated considering various factors such as the total number of guests and the cancellation policies of suppliers like hoteliers, airlines, coach operators, etc. The decision taken by withinearthholidays.com regarding the quantum of refund shall be final and the approved refund will be paid directly to the guest.
Important Information Regarding Refunds
• Refunds, if any, for variation, modification, amendment, alteration and/or cancellation of any tour will be paid directly to the guest by A/C payee cheque, in Indian Rupees, at the prevailing rate of exchange on the date of the cheque, as per applicable Reserve Bank of India rules and regulations, irrespective of whether the tour payments were made partly or wholly in foreign currency.
• Where bookings are made through preferred sales partners, refunds will be routed through the same channel.
• Refunds (if applicable) will be processed strictly as per the applicable terms and conditions and will be interest-free. withinearthholidays.com shall not be liable to pay any interest on the refunded amount.
• Refund processing may take 30 to 60 days, depending upon the season and nature of services booked.
No Refund Will Be Payable In The Following Cases
• For any missed or unused services of the tour, including meals, due to any reason whatsoever.
• Where a full deposit is required to be paid in advance to concerned authorities to confirm reservations.
• If tour services are modified, varied, amended, cancelled, or not utilized by the guest.
• If a guest cancels the tour due to changes in rules or regulations made by the concerned Government or authorities.
• Where airfares are contracted in bulk for air-inclusive departures.
• If the tour is indefinitely postponed due to natural calamities, riots, political disturbances, or any other unforeseen events.
• Refunds are not applicable for domestic or international tour sectors where air tickets are non-refundable and date changes are not permitted.
Card Payment Refunds
For all card payments, any eligible refund will be processed through the respective card-issuing financial institutions and credited back to the same card account. Any transaction or processing charges levied by banks or payment gateways shall be borne by the guest.
